Este artículo presenta aspectos esenciales sobre el uso de internet como base del aprendizaje en la actualidad. Los aspectos positivos que ya conlleva el uso del ordenador en el aula han añadido diferentes herramientas al hecho de compartir el conocimiento de una forma más global y fácil de incluir en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, como son los diferentes medios que ofrece la WebQuest, el uso de las TIC, el E-learning, el Software Educativo, la Educación 2.0, la Informática relacionada con el aprendizaje y la biblioteca universal. Con el fin de fomentar su motivación, desempeño crítico y reflexivo en todas las asignaturas, para que el aprendizaje sea significativo y se enseñe de manera más fácil y didáctica en el aula, siempre y cuando se utilicen estos recursos de manera pertinente. De esta manera los resultados mostraron que el Internet es un instrumento indispensable principalmente en la educación, ya que facilita el trabajo tanto a los profesores como a los alumnos, porque ofrece un sinfín de información y plataformas que ayudan en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, permitiendo a los alumnos interactuar con personas de todo el mundo, lo que genera la adquisición de nuevos conceptos cada día, finalmente cabe destacar que este artículo utiliza una metodología únicamente de revisión bibliográfica.
